Classic Literature Subscription Box Reading Program
Young Wanderers is a subscription box reading program for curious children itching to go on grand adventures through GOOD books.
Participating children read classic works of literature, such as Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Just So Stories, the Wind in the Willows, and the Hobbit. These classics will ignite their imagination, take them to far-off lands as well as familiar places, and help them achieve deeper reading as well as a deeper understanding of the written word.
Who is Young Wanderers for?
Young Wanderers is intended for children ages 7 to 12. But more than that, it’s a program for children who want to discover new places only accessible through imaginative literature.
Although the recommended age range is 7 to 12, if a book seems too difficult, we encourage parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, or whomever to read along with the child. The more great works of literature they read—alone or with others—the better readers they will become! Plus, the classic works of literature they will receive are classics for a reason—they are enjoyed by the youngest readers and the oldest adults alike.
What do subscribers receive?
Children receive one classic book nearly every month for the duration of their subscription, a pacing guide and question prompts with each book, and milestone gifts. A reward poster and stickers to accompany each book come with our longer programs (1-, 2-, and 3-years).
The first box includes a handbook for caregivers, outlining the books that will be read, tips for helping your child achieve deeper reading, and more information about the program.
Our 1-, 2-, and 3-year subscriptions include caregiver access to an online community filled with reading resources and opportunities to connect with other parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles who also value classic literature and a liberal arts-style education.
